Job title: Business Development Executive

Atlas Cloud is a leading managed service provider of complex IT solutions. We are a fast growing scale-up business with 80% growth in the previous financial year. We have a mixed go-to marketing model working with direct customers supporting their transition to the cloud. 

Working within a team of other BDEs, you’ll be set targets and strategies by the Senior Management team. Your day will mostly be spent calling prospects, booking qualified appointments, attending 1st meetings and introducing new products and services into existing customers.

who we are looking for

The successful new member of the team will report directly into the CEO and will be based in Atlas Cloud’s Newcastle upon Tyne office. We are looking for a focused and driven BDE with excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner. A track record of winning new business in the technology sector and a hunger to either run a sales team or win and manage targeted accounts is advantageous. 

You will need

  • 2-5 years sales experience (Desk and Field)
  • Excellent communication and written skills with a confident telephone manner
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and driven to over achieve set targets/KPIs
  • Proficient computer literacy – able to use Office and Outlook to organise meetings
  • Must be confident in speaking to C-level Executives
  • Good listening skills and detail orientated
  • Resilience – must be resilient and able to turn rejection into a positive 
  • Ability to work within a changing environment
  • Adherence to Atlas Cloud Employee Contract
  • Awareness and acceptance of all Atlas Cloud Policies & Procedures
