PROJECT BASED HOSTED DESKTOPS
Built just like our hosted desktop solution, our ‘Virtual Project Office’ delivers IT on a project basis. Businesses with an already existing, working IT solution can utilise this offering for specific projects. This is especially handy when the project is taking place in another part of the country and would require a physical office to be set up.
How it works
Basically, it’s all your files, apps (incl. 3D), email, backups, storage, disaster recovery and business continuity in one desktop that is made accessible over the internet. Entire desktops or single applications are deployed on demand, specific to your project requirements and fully effective within days (dependent on a working internet connection).
Rather than having to rent office space, source hardware and relocate or hire local talent, you can just deploy a Virtual Project Office. The desktops are tailored to project needs and host all applications, data and communication tools needed for the duration of the project. Collaboration and file sharing is made easy as everything is stored in a client dedicated, ISO 27001:2013 certified Common Data Environment (CDE), with you having full power over who can access which documents and files.
The solution also enables your staff to make real-time changes to their files wherever they are (think: an architect adapting a drawing on an iPad on a construction site), drastically increasing mobility and, as a result, productivity and business performance.
Common Data Environment
All applications, files and data are centralised in a client dedicated CDE and can be accessed securely by authorised users on any device.
Manage access rights of all project parties and work on centralised files shared via hyperlink, reducing duplication and errors.
Our solutions support 3D and graphically intense apps and makes them accessible over low bandwidth on low spec end-user devices.
Upon completion, all data around a construction project will be automatically moved to a preferred form of archive platform.
